Customers have been waiting for Wi-Fi calling to hit their Nexus 6 on T-Mobile,
and now the update has finally received approval. T-Mobile Product
Evangelist, Des, has confirmed that a small number of customers will
begin seeing the update hit their devices as soon as this weekend. If
all goes well they hope to roll it out to everyone over the next few
weeks.
The update was rumored to hit the devices early in 2015,
but unfortunately some issues have pushed the release back. T-Mobile
has also just updated its support page with information about the
Android 5.1.1 build LYZ28E update that is pushing out, which also
includes Device Anti-Theft, as well as bug fixes and other improvements.
Be on the lookout for the update, and if you receive it be sure to let
us know in the comments below.
